Forgot to post these earlier, but there was a VW meet at the hotel I was staying at in Mexico. A lot of cool beetles and vans, but this golf cart thing really stood out...

That’s a “pulmonía” (sp?). One with doors is called a “safari”. They’re exceptionally common in Mazatlan, which is where they were first built, and a major symbol of the area. They’re operated as open-air taxis throughout the city, where they’re mostly used to transport tourists.
